Full Description

PRN 37875 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This house, along with 7 St George's Street (PRN 37187), was originally part of a pair of early 19th century houses. The almost symmetrical St Leonard's Street elevation gives a mistaken impression of unity between the two houses. {1} This three storey ashlar stone house is part of the return frontage of 7 George Street [this is incorrect - see above] and dates to the early 18th century [this is also probably wrong - see above]. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {2}
