Full Description

PRN 37187 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This house, which is now part of 1 St Leonard's Street (PRN 38882), was originally a separate house however the almost symmetrical St Leonard's Street front makes these two houses appear to have lways been one building. It dates to the early 19th century. A large ground floor window suggests that this house was designed as a shop. {1} This house, which is the return elevation of 1 St Leonard's Street, dates to the late 18th century [this date is probably incorrect - see above]. It is three storeys high and built of coursed rubble with a slate roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {2}
