Full Description
Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from the early 17th century with 1862 remodelling. It is coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins and has a Collyweston slate roof with raised stone coped gables, two moulded stone gable stacks and a single large four shafted moulded stone ridge stack. Glen House, Castle Bytham. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
