Full Description

Grade II listed inn, dating from the 17th century and altered in the early 19th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins and has a Collyweston slate roof with raised stone gables, two brick wall stacks and two stone ridge stacks, all with moulded tops. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
