Full Description

Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings and has plain tiled roofs with two brick wall stacks with moulded tops. It was designed as a farm on Grimsthorpe Estate for the Willoughby de Eresby family. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
