Full Description
Grade II listed cottage, dating from 1693 and altered in the mid 19th and 20th centuries. It has a timber frame encased in red brick and some coursed limestone rubble. It also has a steeply pitched pantile roof with a single ridge stack and 20th century barge boards. There are back to back inglenook fireplaces, one with the date "1693" inscribed on bressumer. Wall plates are exposed upstairs and one is a cross wall with posts, a straight brace and crudely made joints. The original roof is intact beneath the 20th century roof.
