Full Description

Bridge and former sluice gates, now removed, at the confluence of New South Eau Drain and North Level Drain. Largely built of red brick, and dated 1833 on the plaque to the parapet. The bridge is of four spans with three cutwaters, and efatures eliptical arches with raised key blocks and parapet with stone coping and end and intermediate spur stones. On the west side, there is an opening in the parapet for a roadway to a store and workshop associated with the North Level Drain. The south-east portion of the bridge and sluice gates are in Cambrigeshire, in the parish of Parson Drove.
