Full Description

Former small country house, in use as a special school at time of listing, and later converted to a care home. Built 1826 for Mrs Jane Smith, extended 1956. Build of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with painted ashlar dressings and hipped Westmorland slate roof with lead dressings, wooden cupola bellcote and weather vane, and brick wall stacks.
