Full Description

Grade II listed railway station with attached footbridge, platform building, yard walls and railing, dating from 1848 and altered in the late 19th and 20th centuries. They are possibly by Joseph Cubitt or JH Taylor of London for the Great Northern Railway Co. Theya re yellow brick, with stone dressings and slate roofs, with six ridge and eight side wall stacks and is in Tudor revival style.
