Full Description

Grade I listed house, formerly part of a larger complex including 12 Eastgate and 18 James Street, (qv), now the Bishop's House. It dates from the late 13th century, was altered in the early 16th, early and late 18th and early and mid 19th centuries. The central bay and interior was altered in 1927 to 1928. It is timber framed and brick, with stucco on the south and east front and has a plain tile roof with single gable stacks and two valley and single side wall stacks.
