Full Description

A scotch type brick kiln dating from about 1800, which underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of red brick and is rectangular in plan. Apart from the enlarged opening and cracking due to thermal stress of the side walls, the structure is in good order and represents an unusually complete survival of a once common building type.
