Full Description

A road bridge over a drainage channel built from red brick with some ashlar in c.1812 by John Rennie. It has a semi-circular archway with a flat band running above and an ashlar coped parapet with sweeping sides terminating in coped rectangular piers. The south west section is in Eastville, the south east section is in Thorpe St. Peters and the north side is in Halton Holegate. The area was drained and enclosed by the engineer John Rennie 1802 to 1812.
