Full Description
A memorial to Lord William Henry Cavendish Bentinck, who died in 1870. The memorial itself probably dates from about 1890 and was constructed of Portland stone, Purbeck marble and copper. It has three square steps lead up to a pedestal of Portland stone with fielded panelling and inscriptions to the north and south. A Purbeck marble column rises approximately three metres with a Portland stone cap and copper ball finial.
