Full Description

The remains of a ruinous church at Walmsgate. The building was constructed of square limestone rubble, although only three courses of the nave walls and chancel foundations now survive. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Walmsgate parish was combined with Burwell parish in 1435, and it is likely that the church and its associated burial ground (see MLI42416) went out of use after this date. {2}
