For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} After the First World War, two identical memorial plaque made out of white Carrara marble from Italy were made to honour those who fell during the war. One was hung in the Church, and was unveiled and dedicated in 1920. It measures 2.5ft by 1.75ft (1m by 0.5m), with red and black incised letters. The second plaque was hung in the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel (see PRN 48977). It was unveiled at the same time in 1920. When the chapel was demolished in 1978, the plaque was moved to the surviving Sunday-school room turned village hall. It was moved again to its present location in 2001 (see PRN 49554) when the village was considering demolishing the hall. {2}
