Full Description
A former school, now hall, with a former schoolmaster's house adjacent, dating from 1857. It was constructed of red brick and has a slate roof with stone tiled coped gables. White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was built on a site gifted by Edwin Kemp Esq., and was erected at a cost of £253. By 1872 it was attended by around 40 pupils. {2}
