Full Description

A parish church dating from 1858 to 1860, built by David Brandon from red brick with ashlar dressings. It has slate roofs with stone coped gables, a nave, a south aisle, a porch, a south eastern tower with steeple, a chancel and a vestry. Unveiled in 1919, the memorial commemorates those who died in the First World War. The names of the fallen are inscribed on a memorial tablet inside the church. {2}
