Full Description

PRN 70629 Trial trenching at Chapel Lane in August 2008 revealed evidence of Roman activity in the vicinity. The ramparts of the city, robber pits and floor or trample layers were revealed. Finds included 1st to 4th centruy pottery and ceramic building material and a redeposited coin. {1}{2}
