PRN 14007 Documentary sources reveal that a Presbyterian Chapel was built in 1738 in High Street "about half way between Pulvertoft and St Anne's Lanes". It is described as a "small and very unpretending building" which seated around 60 people. It was apparently demolished in 1825. Its location is marked on maps of 1741 and 1779.{1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
