A Baptist Meeting House is mentioned in documentary sources as having existed in Deal Yard, off Wide Bargate, in Boston and is marked on a map of 1741. It has been suggested that it was used by a congregation which had moved from a Meeting House in Spain Lane, at an unknown date, but had ceased to be in use by 1739 when meetings were held in Skirbeck Quarter (PRN 14006). It is still marked as a Baptist Meeting House on a map of 1779. {1}{2}{3}{4}
