Full Description
This building was a Methodist chapel until the current chapel building was built in 1907 (see PRN 47246), after which it became the associated Sunday School. It is now used as a chapel again following the closure of the newer building and its conversion to commercial use. It is considered to be of townscape value by the Conservation Area Appraisal. {1}
The chapel was built in 1899 using money from a private donor. It is of red brick and has a gabled roof with finails. It has a plinth with stone coping and a bell turret. {2}
