Full Description
Large red brick and half timbered house, constructed in 1905 as a lodge to Petwood House. It is considered to be of townscape value by the Conservation Area Appraisal. {1}
The former lodge building was constructed in a similar style to the Petwood Hotel, though all of the ground floor is of brick, with the half timbering to the first floor only, matching the style of the other subsidiary buildings to the hotel. The lodge was converted to a private house in 1983. {2}
The building lies within the Petwood House Gardens, which have been designated as a Registered Park (see PRN 49195). {3}
