Cast iron water hydrant with distinctive lion's head top, installed as part of the provision of a public water supply in the mid 20th century. It was cast by Glenfield and Kennedy of Kilmarnock and similar examples can be seen in other villages in the area. It is considered to be a Significant unlisted feature within the Conservation Area. {1}
