Full Description
An 'old stone pit' is shown in this location on the 1st edition 6 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map. {1}
Traces of the former quarry were clearly identified in March 2014, during a magnetometry survey conducted on land off Heath Lane, Honington. The quarry was identified as an area of magnetic disturbance, covering a larger area than that recorded on the Ordnance Survey map. {2}
