Full Description

PRN 47099 No. 64 is shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey map of the town as a smithy with the attractive 19th Century house beyond as a foundry. The latter has had the front door replaced with a bulls-eye window. This building is considered to be of Townscape Value within the Conservation Area. {1} Possible location also of the New Inn, a 19th century public house. {2}
