A scatter of Romano-British pottery was seen during fieldwalking. Two main concentrations of pottery were noted as well as a general background scatter over the rest of the field. Possible building rubble was also seen and part of the topstone of a quern and a single piece of tile were also found. It is suggested that this site represents a low-grade Romano-British farmstead.
