PRN 65156
A concentration of worked flints including microliths, scrapers and arrowheads was seen during fieldwalking. Two sherds of late Bronze Age pottery were also seen in the same field although not in the same area as the flint scatter. (Note - the location shown for this scatter is approximate.) {1}
A total of 79 worked flints was recovered from this site, which suggests possible significant Neolithic and/or Bronze Age activity at this site. The number of microliths present also suggests a possible late Mesolithic site. {2}
