Full Description
The remains of a former ditch was revealed in May 2007, during the archaeological monitoring of the installation of a new water main along Mareham Lane, Sleaford. The ditch was thought to be associated with an earlier form of Mareham Lane, and, along with the presence of undated subsoil layers, would suggest that the road was originally much narrower. {1}{2}
