For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A decorated Anglo-Saxon (late 10th or early 11th century) grave-marker is re-used as a bracket to the north of the north aisle east window and was presumably set there when the wall was built in the 14th century. It is a complete or near complete rectangular marker decorated on both faces with incised decoration, although two-thirds of it is buried within the wall. {4} The church and its incumbents from the medieval period to the 19th century are discussed by Trollope. {6}
