Full Description
PRN 46760
A thick layer of dark grey silt containing numerous 3rd-4th century greyware pottery sherds was encountered during a watching brief. The quantity of sherds suggests that there may have been some Romano-British domestic occupation in the area. Evidence of cereal processing was also recovered. Some earlier pottery was found in unstratified contexts. {1}{2}
