Full Description
PRN 46756
Single storey red brick outbuilding with pantile roof, probably constructed in the mid-late 19th century, and probably used as a blacksmith's workshop with forge and storage room/stable. It is built in a similar style to the former carpenter's workshop across the road, and both may be Raithby estate buildings. This building was partially converted into a garage in the 1970s, and is currently unused. It was surveyed prior to conversion into a holiday cottage. {1}{2}
The building is labelled as a smithy on the 1905 O.S. map. {3}
