Full Description
PRN 34507
A large scatter of limestone building rubble with over 100 Romano-British tiles (including hypocaust tiles) was seen during fieldwalking on the east bank of the Car Dyke. Animal bone, oyster shell and a very small amount of slag was also seen. The presence of such a large amount of rubble and tile suggests a building on this site, possibly a relatively high status one. {1}
