Full Description
PRN 13865
Geophysical survey along the route of a wind farm access track recorded an area of probable archaeological activity at the south eastern end of the survey. This consists of areas of high readings which may represent the presence of burnt features such as hearths or concentrations of ceramic materials such as salterns. This pattern was also shown in the magnetic susceptibility samples and a scatter of probable medieval pottery was noted on the ground during the survey, although this was not investigated further. {1}
