Full Description

PRN 70501 A wall constructed of rough limestone blocks was uncovered during trial trenching at the former Blenkin Hall site. Four courses of the wall survived. It formed a right angle, suggesting that it was the southeast corner of a building. It had been extensively robbed, and robber pits were visible around it. Sherds of 13th century pottery were found within a demolition layer from the base of the wall. {1}{2}
