Full Description

The sluice bridge and lights were constructed in 1764 to 1766 by John Grundy and Langley Edwards. They were altered in 1883 by John Williams. The sluice is arranged with three channels on the west and a wider channel and lock for boats to pass through on the east. There is a red brick road bridge with four segmented arches.
