Full Description

PRN 13838 Former schoolhouse, now house, founded in 1665. Altered in the late 18th and 20th century. Constructed in colourwashed brick with a slate roof. T-shape in plan, two storeys high (plus garret) and a three bay front with plinth 3 bay front with plinth, first floor and eaves bands, the former band is raised over the door in Fen Artisan Mannerist style. The rear range also has remnant Fen Artisan Mannerist detailing. Part of the school foundation of 1665 by Anthony Pinchbeck.
