Full Description
Site of the former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Anderby. The chapel appears on the 1905 Ordnance Survey Second Edition map. {1}
The building is in a 'disused' condition on the 1971 10:000 O.S. map. {2}
The building was demolished sometime between 1971 and 2000, as it does not appear on vertical aerial photographs of 2000. {3}
Centenary Chapel, a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, was built in 1839 to seat 110. The number of seats was later reduced to 50. The last service was held in 1966 and the building was demolished in 1974. {4}{5}{6}
