Full Description
A low, linear low mound was identified in January 2005, during the excavation of geotechnical test pits along the proposed route of the Aswarby to Harrowby water pipeline. It was thought that the feature represents a former headland at the edge of the cultivated field, which was formed relatively recently. No finds were recovered in association with the feature however, and its exact date remains unknown. {1}{2}
