Full Description
Earthworks of the deserted medieval village of North Reston, comprising crofts and tofts, field systems, enclosures, ridge and furrow and a hollow way, were identified on aerial photographs by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
A sherd of medieval pottery was found during a walkover survey, conducted to assess the impact of proposed construction of the Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The sherd was a surface find, from in the vicinity of TF 3854 8392. {2}
