Full Description

36648 [Incorporates record 30198] An area of cropmarks seen in aerial photographs by Jim Pickering. At least ten small enclosures beside a long boundary ditch as well as a a group of probable field boundaries and small rectangular enclosures at the southern end of the boundary ditch. There is a sketch in source 1. {1}{2}{3} Multiple probable unknown prehistoric cropmark enclosures and hut circle and possible unknown prehistoric cropmark maculae and boundary, possibly indicating Iron Age/Romano-British farmstead/settlement, seen on aerial photographs and recorded by the National Mapping Programme. {4} A small part of this complex was examined and revealed middle Iron Age ditches and gullies see PRN36595.
