A Methodist Church was built in Heckington in 1904 by A.E.Lambert, and may be the current Heckington Methodist Church. It was built in the lancet style, though the grander display of the façade is Perpendicular. {1}
The site was visited in 2009. The first Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in Heckington in 1809 and replaced by a new Chapel in St Andrew's Street in 1835 which survives (PRN 63610). The current Heckington Methodist Church is the church built in 1904 by A.E. Lambert. It is cruciform in plan, built of red brick with ashlar dressings and has gabled roofs with slate coverings. The street front has a large five-light pointed window with Perpendicular cusped tracery and leaded stained glass, over paired doors set in an ashlar doorway with blind cusped tracery. The raised gables have stone copings and the main gable has lateral pinnacles over stepped angle buttresses and a stone cross at the apex. There are four broad ashlar bands on the front elevation. The side elevations have pairs of lancet windows and the transepts have three stepped lancet windows on the gable elevations. Red brick gabled annexes behind have segmental-headed and lancet windows and include a Sunday School. {2}{3}{4}
