Full Description

PRN 36602 An archaeological watching brief at the junction between the A1 and Harlaxton Road, near Grantham retrieved a small assemblage of Neolithic to Bronze Age flint implements and debitage. The finds were recovered fro the topsoil and included two scrapers and a group of blades dating to the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age. A mixture of tools, utilized flakes and debitage, the collection indicates a prehistoric presence either on or close to the site.
