Full Description
Earthwork mounds of former salterns were observed in this area on aerial photographs as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
They were also observed on a site visit in 2004, conducted as part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. After the salterns fell out of use, ridge and furrow was created over the top, which can also be seen on the aerial photographs. {2}{3}
