Full Description

PRN 55216 153 trial trenches were excavated on the proposed route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. A pit which contained medieval pottery was uncovered. {1}{2} Fieldwalking was undertaken on the proposed route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. Four sherds of medieval pottery and a fragment of medieval ridge tile were recovered. {3}{4} During metal detecting and fieldwalking of this area for the Lincoln Eastern Bypass by Archaeological Project Services in November 2009, medieval pottery and ceramic building material was recovered. {5}{6}
