Full Description

Former Wesleyan Day School, by Bellamy and Hardy of Lincoln, now disused and partly demolished. 1859, with late C19 rear addition. Red brick, with yellow brick and stone dressings, slate and concrete tile roofs. Italianate style. It has nine bays and is L-shaped in plan. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} The former Weslyan Day School was visited during a survey of nonconformist chapels in the City of Lincoln. Although it is not a nonconformist chapel, the building was recorded and photographed using the same methodology. The building was found to be in a good state of preservation and was undergoing development to form luxury apartments. {2}
