PRN 70438 Monks Road Baptist Chapel is first depicted on the Ordnance Survey Map of 1905. It was probably built at some point in the period 1885 to 1905. {1} Before 1887 a Baptist chapel had been opened on the north side of Monks Road to the east of the City School. {2} Chapel records show that the chapel was being used for worship until 1974. The building was probably demolished soon after this date. {3}
