Full Description

PRN 70420 The chapel is first depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of 1905 (1938 Revision). {1} The building appears as an Elim Pentecostal Chapel on the Ordnance Survey map of 1968. {2} The chapel was built during the late Victorian to Edwardian expansion of the city during the period 1890 to 1905 (two datestones found at the front of the chapel date the building to 1898). The chapel became redundant at some time in the early 1990s. In 2004 the chapel was converted to a Co-operative shop and Post Office. {3}
