PRN 45874
A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks on the Maltby le Marsh to Manby replacement water main. Evidence was uncovered for a Roman field system. There was various ditches and gullies draining into a pond. There was also conjectural evidence of a corn drier in the area due to the high amounts of charred chaff in the environmental sample. {1} {2}
