Full Description
54989
A chapel and Sunday School are indicated on the 1906 County Series map. A site visit identified that the building now occupying the site is a double garage, which has two date stones as part of its fabric. The dates are 1861 and 1867, which is about the time that the former Wesleyan Chapel on Front Street closed (see 54988), which suggests that this may be a replacement. The building appears to have no longer been used as a chapel by the 1950s. {1}{2}{3}
