Full Description

PRN 36538 A systematic fieldwalking survey was undertaken on a parcel of land to the west of Holywell Hall gardens. The fieldwalking was undertaken following the discovery of Romano-British pottery and iron tap slag at Holywell in March 2001. As a result of the fieldwalking, a scatter of Medieval pottery dating to the 10th to 14th century was found, predominantly in the central and southwestern part of the site. {1}
